Rinse thoroughly, trim the ends, and slice or cube as desired. For a simple sauté, heat a little oil, add Snake Gourd with salt and pepper, and cook for 5–7 minutes until just tender. For grilling, brush slices with oil, season, and cook 3–4 minutes per side. To roast, toss with oil and spices and bake at 200°C for 15–20 minutes. Naturally low in calories and a source of fibre, it suits light, wholesome meals.
