500g Chicken Mince
1 small Onion (finely chopped or grated)
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 tbsp Sauce
Salt & Pepper to taste
4 slices Cheese
4 Burger Buns (toasted lightly)
1 tbsp Butter (for toasting buns)
Optional toppings:
Lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, caramelized onions, ketchup, mustard, or mayo.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Prepare the patties
In a mixing bowl, combine mince, onion, garlic, sauce, salt, and pepper.
Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into patties (slightly larger than the bun, as they shrink while cooking).
2. Cook the patties
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until nicely browned.
In the last minute, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover briefly to melt.
3. Toast the buns
Lightly butter and toast burger buns on the pan until golden.
4. Assemble the burger
Spread sauces of your choice on the buns.
Add lettuce and tomato slices at the base.
Place the cheesy patty, then add pickles or onions.
Top with the bun and press gently.
