EGG BISCUIT RECIPE

Crispy biscuits with a nice rounded shape

Ingredients

2 cup Butter
2 cup Icing sugar
5 medium Eggs
2 ½ cup Flour
2 tsp Baking powder
2 tsp Vanilla essence
Pinch of Salt

 

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C) and line 2 baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together egg, and butter thoroughly.
  3. Add dry ingredients and mix until well-combined and smooth.
  4. Portion the dough into small balls. Use measuring spoon of ¼ teaspoon to scoop and portion each ball.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 320°F or 160°C for 17-20 minutes or until the bottom of the biscuit is golden brown.
  6. Check the bottom of the biscuit every 5 minutes. It takes about 20 minutes for the biscuit to be browned at the bottom and become solid.
  7. Cool down the biscuits and serve with tea or coffee.
