CHAI TEA LATTE

Simply chai tea latte is a combination of tea and milk

Ingredients

2 Tea bags
1 cups water
½ tsp Ground cinnamon
¼ tsp Ground ginger
¼ tsp Ground nutmeg
¼ tsp Ground cloves
¾ cup Milk
½ tsp Vanilla extract
3 tabs Maple syrup or Honey

 

Method

  1. Place milk, tea bags, maple syrup, and spices into a small sauce pan and whisk.
  2. Next, bring to a boil over medium heat and immediately remove from heat.
  3. Let the tea seep for at least 3 minutes or longer.
  4. Remove tea bags and pour the whole mixture through a fine sieve into a mug.
  5. Serve hot or iced latte and enjoy.

FRENCH HOT CHOCOLATE

Less sweetness and a thicker consistency

Ingredients

1 ½ cup Whole milk
½ cup Heavy cream
2 tsp Powdered sugar
½ cup Bittersweet chocolate, chopped
whipped cream for serving

 

 Method

  1. In a small skillet over medium-low heat, warm the milk. Avoid bringing it a boil.
  2. Add the chopped chocolate and whisk until melted.
  3. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, or until thick.
  4. Whisk in the sugar, and espresso powder.
  5. If the hot chocolate is too thick for your liking, add a bit of milk.
  6. Pour into small cups and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
  7. Enjoy!

 

 CARROT CAKE SMOOTHE

Healthy carrot smoothie

Ingredients

1 cup Chopped carrots
½ cup Banana, frozen sliced
½ cup Plain Greek yogurt
½ cup Milk
2 tabs Toasted walnuts
1 tabs Flaked coconut optional
¼ tsp Cinnamon
Pinch nutmeg
shredded carrots, coconut, crushed nuts for topping
 

Method

  1. Add all of the ingredients to your blender: carrots, banana, Greek yogurt, milk, walnuts, coconut, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. Blend until smooth. Pour out into two glasses and top with whipped cream and toasted coconut or crushed walnuts as desired.
